Red River Community Corps: Celebrating an Incredible 2024

Join us in reflecting on an incredible year of service, growth and impact at Red River Community Corps. From expanding our reach across Oklahoma to making a measurable difference in communities, 2024 was a year for the books!

By the Numbers: Our Impact in 2024

This year, our 106 dedicated AmeriCorps members gave their time, skills and energy to communities across Oklahoma, serving a total of 61,167 hours! Their efforts strengthened our mission of “Uniting America Through Service” by addressing critical needs such as education, food insecurity, mental health and economic opportunity.

Building our Membership

  • Welcomed 44 new members, broadening our impact

  • 29 members traveled beyond their home cities to serve

  • 58 members successfully completed their term and earned the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award

Expanding Our Reach

  • Partnered with 50+ organizations across Oklahoma

  • Added 16 new partner sites to our network

  • Collaborated with impactful groups like OSU Center for Social Innovation and OKC Food Hub

The Power of Partnerships

None of this would be possible without our partner sites that support and uplift our AmeriCorps members. This year, host sites went above and beyond to provide members with additional benefits, incentives and bonuses, making service positions more competitive and rewarding.

A Year of Service, A Future of Possibilities

This year’s success belongs to our members, our partners, our board and our supporters. We are beyond grateful for the dedication and passion that made 2024 a year of impact.

As we step into 2025, we’re excited to expand beyond the Oklahoma City and Tulsa metro areas and forge new partnerships to serve even more communities.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Here’s to another year of service, growth and change!
